Easter Woodland Bunny Nails: Manicure featuring KKCenterHK Water Decals

I say semi-Easter mani because it technically doesn't have the pastel Easter theme with the chicks and eggs but it does have a bunny on it, so I will say it's for easter.

Tools of the Trade from Ivory Avenue: April Canadian Beauty Bloggers Guest Post

Good evening everyone, today I am bringing to you the April Guest post from my fellow Canadian Beauty Blogger Natalie from Ivory Avenue. To find out what her must have makeup tools are, keep on reading!

Hey beauties! My name is Natalie, and I write a blog called Ivory Avenue. Ivory Avenue is a wild collection of beauty, fashion and lifestyle – though this is a rough definition. I really blog about whatever tickles my fancy.
I'll be taking over Jasmine's blog for the day as part of the Canadian Beauty Bloggers monthly guest posting, and today I'll be talking about my top tools for beauty. I've avoided the obvious tools like tweezers and nail clippers, and really focused on items I would really miss if I didn't have them.
Forever XXI Pastel Eyelash Curler, $3.80 // Do you really need an eyelash curler? I don't know. I find it really helps define my lashes, and is an absolute must-have for my makeup bag. I haven't noticed a difference in quality from brand to brand, but there is a massive difference in price. If you're trying an eyelash curler for the first time, I'd go for a cheaper one, and see if you like it.
e.l.f. Studio Kabuki Face Brush, $6.00 // I love this kabuki brush! I always order extra when e.l.f. has a 50% off sale (yes, those happen!) This brush is dense enough to really pack the powder, but the bristles are so soft that it's like using a pillow to apply makeup - yes, that's an exaggeration, but you get the point.
Real Techniques Silicone Liner Brush, $8.99 // This was a game changer for me. I love using gel/liquid liners, but the bristle brushes can be such a pain. This took a little bit of getting used to, but it makes a huge difference in using gel/liquid liners. It's so neat, clean and tidy - I love it. You can do thin lines, thicker lines, and I found I had total control.
EcoTools Bamboo Tapered Blush Brush, $8.99 // I've tried many a blush brushes in my time, and this is by far my favourite to get the perfect amount of product across the cheeks. It blends beautifully, and is such a joy to use. I use this only for powder blushes, but apparently it can be used for cream blushes as well.
Sephora Pro Airbrush Concealer Brush #57, $29.00 // I bought numerous concealer brushes a few years ago from various brands, but they ended up being very useless or shed too much. There's nothing I hate more than shedding brushes! I found my fingers were better at getting a natural finish - until I tried this brush. It blends concealer, without removing much of the product. So you're left with great coverage, without it looking like there's that much coverage! For someone like me who often gets spots, it's pretty critical to know how to conceal well.
And that's my job done. What are your must-have beauty tools? Share with me in the comments section below! Feel free to check out my blog at Ivory Avenue! Have a good day!
