Packaging:
The Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate comes packaged in a sleek airless pump bottle (48ml). When the shiny silver button at the top is pressed, a plastic disc is pushed up to dispense a small squirt of product. Overall, the packaging is very convenient and travel-friendly.

Formulation:
With water, glycerin, and butylene glycol as the base ingredients, the Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate is a lightweight gel moisturizer that's infused with algae extract, rice extract, caffeine, aloe juice, and sodium hyaluronate. If you look closely, you'll notice that the gel is actually dispersed with hundreds of tiny liquid-spheres that encapsulate vitamin C and vitamin E. These antioxidant spheres burst upon application and help reduce free radicals that age the skin.

Although the product contains silicone (fourth ingredient), its texture didn't feel heavy. The moisturizer spreads nicely and absorbs quickly, leaving behind no greasy residues. I wouldn't say the formulation controls sebum production but it also didn't make my skin oilier than it normally would be. At the end of the day, there was no pilling or icky residues and my skin felt fresh and lightly hydrated.
Overall, I'm a fan! This is the perfect lightweight gel moisturizer for anyone looking for a potent boost of hydration. And because the texture isn't silicon-y or greasy, I would especially encourage those with oily/combination skin to test it out!
