Shu Uemura Face Architect Smooth Fit Fluid Foundation: Review and Swatch

This bad boy here, the Shu Uemura Face Architect Smooth Fit Fluid Foundation, is what I consider the most hefty beauty investment I have made. At around $70 CAD after tax, I had to make sure I get the most out of it. I initially tried out samples of this foundation that came along with some Shu Uemura Skincare items my mom bought me. I was so very impressed by the formula and by how well the color (564 Medium Light Sand) fits me! For a detailed review, click.......

It's got a nice pump dispenser. I CANNOT stand foundations without a pump!
So the one point about the formula that really got me was how well it masked a lot of my imperfections. And by imperfections I don't mean discolouration, because any decent concealer can do that with no problem. This foundation actually smooths over the texture of my skin; I have a lot of scars, dryness, and ongoing acne, so an ordinary foundation will actually accentuate those! But not this one!
Also, 564 Medium Light Sand and several other colors from this line suit asian skin tones very well. It's got just enough yellow in the mix that it looks very natural and radiant when applied.
With all of that said, I don't think I will repurchase this product, simply because $70 dollars is way too expensive. However, I've had this bottle for three months now (I use it on average four times a week), and a good three quarters is still left, so I shouldn't have to dread living without it for another five months or so!
