Covergirl Flamed Out Mascara: Review and Swatches

The Covergirl Flamed Out Mascara is a fairly new product and I had not heard much about it before trying it. I took a little bit of a risk buying something that I knew almost nothing about. You can find this in many drugstores for about $8.99 CAN and I picked one up on sale in 300 Very Black Blaze. To see swatches and to read the rest of my review click:

At first I thought that the wand looked really cool and I thought it reminded me of the Fairy Drops wand. I obviously had not seen the Fairy Drops wand in a while because they look nothing alike. When I applied it for the first time after purchasing I did not like it, I felt like it did nothing for me and was just a pile of rubbish. I picked it up again a few days later and actually really liked it.
The formula is not very wet, but it is not a drier consistency. It sits at the perfect consistency upon opening. I really dislike formulas that are too dry since I feel like it is just pulling at my eye, so this works wonderfully for me. The product also feels very natural on the eye, not too hard and fake.
The staying power of this mascara is also great. It does not smudge, and I have tested it through a workout and I did not end up with it all over my face. It also comes off fairly easily with a good makeup wipe.
Although it doesn't create an overly dramatic look, it fits what I need it to do on a daily basis.

What do you think about the Flammed Out Mascara?
