L.A. Girl Feather Frenzy Nail Polish in "Oriole" and "Hummingbird": Review and Swatches

Disclaimer: The products featured were provided for review.
Hey guys, how is it going? I'm feeling extra stressed out these couple of weeks, I'm only two weeks into school and I feel already weighed down by classes, clubs stuff, and everything else. But thank goodness I have my little blog, it's a good place for me to relax and live an breathe in the acetone (just joking, I use non-acetone polish remover, which seems to smell even worse).
Anyways, today I have a couple of super gorgeous bar glitter polishes from the Feather Frenzy Collection by L.A. Girl!
This is my first time trying out bar glitter feather effect polishes so I was super excited, to see some swatches and my reviews, click......

First up is an orange, white, and silver bar glitter nail polish called "Oriole" ($5.00), named after the charming little birds. The base is transparent and the polish is pretty packed with bar glitters. The consistency of the polish is just right and a good amount of glitter applied with each coat so I didn't have to sponge on the polish.
For my swatches, I used around two and a half coat.
Look at how pretty it looks! I think it really gives a feathery illusion to the nails! I layered mine over a pastel orange from American Apparel called "Mannequin". The formula of "Oriole" also dried fairly quickly so I really have nothing bad to say about this one!

Next up is a purple, white, and silver bar glitter polish called "Hummingbird"($5.00). I layered this one over a pastel purple from Julep called "Renee". Like "Oriole", "Hummingbird" also gives the base color a cool and funky feathery effect.
Formulation wise, the polish is identical to "Oriole". Easy to apply and dried fairly quickly. A top coat can be used to smooth out the texture of the glitter.
Overall, I love these two polishes. The whole collection in fact looks super adorable as each polish is named after a bird!
