I am going to cut right to the chase, this eye makeup remover did not work very well. I tested this on smudge proof eyeliner and waterproof mascara and instead of breaking down the makeup and lifting it up from the skin the remover only smudged things around. I applied the remover with a cotton bud and after a few swipes all I ended up with was some serious raccoon eyes. In addition, unlike a cleansing oil, the remover dried on the skin and will not remove with water so all in all it was rather counterproductive.
I do have to say that the formula was very gentle, I experienced no stinging and the remover felt very much like a gentle toner; it made the skin around the eyes feel nice and supple. With that said though, this product simply did not live up to its claim.
Overall, I am disappointed with this product but I am certainly not deterred from trying other Garnier skincare products especially since they released a new cleansing oil that's probably more up my alley.
