Floral Manicure featuring Full Nail Water Decals

Disclaimer: Product featured was provided for review.
Calling out all floral fans! Born Pretty Store recently added a ton of floral patterned full nail nail art water decals to their store and today I am sharing with you a look I did with one of them. To find out how well these full nail water decals worked, click.........

The white parts of the decal are transparent.
This water decal sheet ($1.99) comes with full water decal images that you need to trim yourself to obtain the desired the size. I used the backings of nail polish strips (Incoco) as guides to trace out the shapes that fit my nails. Like any other water decals, you have to dip them in water to remove the backing of the decals.
I applied the decals over one layer of white polish from American Apparel called "T-Shirt". At first I noticed some minor puckering and creasing around the curves of my nails but they all disappeared when I applied one coat of top coat to protect the manicure.

Overall, I was super impressed by how easy these were to work with and how incredible they looked on the nails. Because the decals are so thin, the pattern simply melded into the white base, appearing almost as if they are hand-painted (they do not affect the wear of the polish either). I have a few more patterns to share with you in the coming weeks. I also made a simple tutorial showing how I applied them, so keep an eye out for that.
I strongly urge you to check out the beautiful patterns available at Born Pretty Store, to get 10% off of your Born Pretty Store purchase, use the code VGL91.
