New for Summer 2014, the Glazed Lip Paint ($4.00 each) from L.A. Girl is a line of highly anticipated lip colors that provides the intense color of a lipstick and the shine of a lip gloss. Formulated with vitamin E and peppermint oil, the Glazed Lip Paint will keep the lips bright, shiny, and moisturized. To read more and see some swatches, click.......

Packaging:
The Glazed Lip Paints come in a standard squeeze-tube with a slanted plastic applicator. However, because the color of these products is so intense, you will for sure want to apply them with a lip liner instead of going straight in with the applicator.

Formulation & Pigmentation:
The Glazed Lip Paints have a very light-weight and non-sticky formulation that's best described as a cross between a liquid lipstick and a moisturizing gloss. I have seen these being compared to the OCC Lip Tars and I have to say that they are quite similar but these have a bit more cushioning to the texture. Also, I think these are a bit similar to Rimmel Apocolips as well.
The colors do feather a bit, especially the bright red, but they won't stain the lips very much as one might expect. The product isn't transfer-proof but the color will last quite a long time as long as you don't eat/drink excessively. Also, it's worth mentioning that the products have a mild peppermint scent.

Bombshell:
This one is a gorgeous hot pink, the pigmentation is strong and a little goes a long, long way!

Pin-Up:
This is a stunning true red, a simple show-stopper. I experienced a bit of feathering on the upper lip so it's best to use this with a lip liner.

Coy:
Yup, a purple lip color! Although I am a lip product addict (as some of y'all already know), I don't actually own anything purple so this is my first! The pigmentation was not as intense as the other two but you can still easily get a very bold look!

Here are the three shades swatched on my arms, I went a little crazy with "Pin-Up" as you can see:

Overall:
I am very much in love with these products. For those that really dig the high intensity of OCC Lip Tars but are hesitant to shell out the high price, these cannot be any more perfect given that they are only $4. The Glazed Lip Paint are high-maintance products that require care to apply and will smudge if you are not careful, but as you can see from the swatches, they truly pack a punch and the formulation feels very comfortable and moisturizing on the lips as well.

Availability:
The L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint comes in 6 shades and are available online and in selected drugstores across U.S and Canada.
