I know what you are thinking, Swarovski, the company that makes all the pretty crystal swan sculptures and fancy pendants also makes perfumes? Yup, that's right! Released in the Spring of 2013, Miss Aura by Swarovski Eau de Toilette is a fragrance designed to compliment the style and femininity of younger Swarovski fans; it is the sister scent of Aura by Swarovski that was released two years earlier.To learn more about this scent, click.......
Being a fragrance from the crystal maker, Miss Aura no doubt has a stunning bottle design. The actual glass bottle is tall and round, with a flutter of tiny pink butterflies encircling the base of the bottle.
The cap, or rather, the star attraction, has matte rose gold metallic finish. It is very long, covering almost the entire length of the bottle. It has shiny butterflies printed along its length. The top of the cap is set with a genuine crystal, "cut and faceted with the unique Swarovski expertise.
The Scent:
Miss Aura Eau de Toilette is described as a fruity floral fragrance.
Top Notes: Pink Grapfruit, Lychee, Ivy
Middle Notes: Rose Absolute, Buddleia, Sweet Pea, Honey
Base Notes: Vetiver, Patchouli
Upon first spritz, I was hit by the citrus scent of the pinkgrapfuit but not so much of the other two top notes. The citrus scent lingers for quite a while as the elegant rose slowly appear. I would describe this as a feminine and cool fragrance that's appropriate for year round. The scent does feel quite young but the floral component gives sophistication to the playful and citrus notes.
Although the scent is not very unique, Miss Aura Eau de Toilette has one of the most luxurious and exquisite bottle design on the market; it's definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of Swarovski crystals or are looking for an new fragrance to display on your vanity table!
