Time to release your inner princess! New for Summer 2014, Vera Wang has added another scent to her Princess fragrance line. The new Vera Wang Princess Power Eau de Toilette ($49.00 CAD for 30ml) offers a delicious, mouthwatering concoction of fruits and florals and it comes in the most colorful princess bottle design to date. Princess Power comes in an angular heart-shaped bottle. The front of the clear bottle is printed with a color pop-art inspired pattern and the back of the bottle shows the light pink-colored perfume.
The cap of the bottle is a silver crown studded with multi-colored rhinestones and the rim of the cap is easily removable. I don't know if it's intentional but the rim works really well as a ring, it's a bit big (probably a size 7 or 7.5) so it only loosely fits around my index finger but I thought it is really cool!

Princess Power is described as a youthful and energetic palette of fruits and florals.
Top Notes: Sparkling Pear, Apricot Blossom, and Raspberry
Middle Notes: Jasmine, Rainbow Rose and Plumeria
Base Notes: Blonde Woods, Creamy Musk and Vanilla
This scent to me screams summer and fun! The fruity top notes are very strong but the sweet vanilla and musk does peek through if I sniff carefully. I wouldn't say this is a very unique scent as I think most fashion houses have their own version of the sweet and fruity summer scent but with a bottle as cute and colorful as this, who can say no? Especially if you already have all the other scents from the princess line!
Overall:
A lovely scent perfect for younger girls or just anyone with some inner "princess power", this fragrance is a perfect mix of fruity and sweet. The scent isn't very long lasting but that's quite typical of lighter fruity fragrances such as this one. Also, I do want to note that the price point of Princess Power is a lot more affordable compared to that of similar fragrances so that's definitely another plus!
