Kat Von D Ink Liner in "Trooper": Review and Swatches
Good morning everyone, I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend! Today I will be reviewing a felt-tip liquid liner from Kat Von D called the Ink Liner. To see some photos and swatches, click.......

What it is:
-Pigmented liquid liner
-Long wearing waterproof formulation

Packaging:
The Ink Liner comes in a simple marker tube. The cap features an interesting spring-loaded double layered design (if that makes any sense). I am not quite sure what the purpose is but I'm guessing it provides extra protection from the liner drying out. The felt tip applicator is not too stiff and it is tapered at the tip.

Formulation & Longevity:
The Ink Liner in "Trooper" is a very intense jet black. The liner is very opaque and it dries down quite quickly. The product will bleed a tiny bit (during application) when worn over bare lids but over eye shadows it creates neat lines. The formulation is waterproof, smudge proof, and doesn't sting the lids.
What I don't love about the liner is the fact that once it's dried down, it becomes a tad crusty (not as much as some other liquid liners get, though) so it's hard to go over it with another coat without messing up the original layer.

Overall:
As some of you might know, I am a big fan of gel liners and almost always gravitate towards them when I do my makeup on a daily basis. However, this Ink Liner is definitely one of the best liquid liners I've tried in a long time. It's super intense and stays put and the tapered felt tip makes it easy to master the winged liner.
