OGX Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture Collection: Review
New from OGX, the Sea Mineral Moisture Collection features four hair care products formulated with deep sea minerals, sea kelps, and green algae that promises to repair and soften damaged and dry hair. I've been using the collection for a couple of weeks now and wanted to share with y'all my thoughts. So if you are interested, read my review by clicking.......
OGX Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture Collection: Review
OGX Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture Shampoo & Condition ($9.99 CAD each):
Formulated with dead sea water, this shampoo/conditioner duo nourishes hair with magnesium, calcium, and potassium, all of which help strengthen damaged hair with split-ends. In addition, the sea kelp moisturizes and keeps the hair healthy and shiny.
I found the shampoo to be lacking in richness, if I use it without the conditioner, my hair feels quite coarse afterwards and they tangle very easily. When paired with the conditioner, however, my hair felt nice and strong and it looked healthier and shinier.
The products have a mild beachy smell, I wish I can describe it better but the scent reminds me of the ocean, subtle and calming.

OGX Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture Surge Deep Treatment ($9.99 CAD):
This is a hair mask also formulated with nutrient-rich sea minerals. However, unlike most hair masks, the formulation isn't particularly rich or thick. In fact, I can't really tell the difference between this product and the the conditioner. With that said though, it makes hair smooth and hydrated.

OGX Quenched Sea Mineral Moisture Shimmering Weightless Moisture Replenisher ($9.99 CAD):
This is a lovely lightweight smoothing spray that detangles the hair. I spray it sparingly on my hair after I've styled it and it makes the hair look shinier and healthier. It's important to not use too much of this spray though because it will make hair look greasy.

Overall:
All of the products do a decent job but none of them gave any phenomenal results. The packaging design of the collection is gorgeous but I think if you have really damaged, dry, and color-treated hair like me, these products may not be enough.
