My Burberry Eau de Parfum: Review

Disclaimer: Product featured was provided for review.
For September 2014, Burberry added a new scent to its collection. Considered the brand's most significant fragrance release to date, My Burberry Eau de Parfum is named after what Burberry trench coat owners affectionately call their trench. The scent is inspired by the smell of London gardens after the rain and features mostly floral notes, to read more, click........
The Bottle:
Housed in a clear rectangular bottle with a horn-finish cap (inspired by the signature hand-stitched buttons of the trench), My Burberry evokes the classic feel of the brand. The perfume is tinted honey colored, one of the three shades the Burberry trench is available in. To further represent the classic trench, the bottle has a hand-tied gabardine ribbon on its neck.
Although simple, this bottle is one of the most beautiful in my collection.
The Scent:
My Burberry is inspired by London gardens after the rain.

Top Notes: Sweet Pea, bergamot
Middle Notes: Golden quince, freesia, geranium
Base Notes: Rose absolute, patchouli

Usually any scent with bergamot hits me immediately with citrus notes but My Burberry actually gives off the scent of flowers and leaves after the rain, right upon the first whiff. The scent feels very cool and unique, despite the scent profile being quite similar to other popular floral scents on the market. The rose and freesia are the most prominent notes to my nose, mixed with an earthy dose of patchouli. If you love florals but not the sweet, overly-feminine type, you will love My Burberry. Now I just need a Burberry trench to go with the scent......

Availability:
Burberry is available online at Sephora and in stores at The Bay, select Shoppers, and Holt Renfrew.
