Too Faced #TFNofilter Selfie Powders Light Filtering Photo-Enhancing Powders: Review and Swatches
New from Too Faced is the first ever Instagram filter inspired face powder palette called the Selfie Powders Light Filtering Photo-Enhancing Powders ($36 USD). With three finishing powders that mimic different Instagram filters, the powder enhances and radiates the complexion. So do these powders really do what they claim? Keep reading to find out.......

Packaging:
The Selfie Powders come in a super slim cardboard packaging. There is a large mirror on the inside and the overall design is very cute!

Formulation:
All three powders are very sheer with a subtle satin finish. Sunrise is a pale yellow that brightens and creates a "diffused warmth" to the complexion. Totally Toasted is a soft bronze that gives a "smoothing glow" and finally Moon River is a soft lavender that gives a "cool ethereal light" to the skin.
If you've ever tried and loved the Guerlain Meteorites pearls, then these Seflie Powders will be right up your alley. I don't think there is a huge distinction between the shades when worn on the face as they are all very sheer, but they provide a more blurred, radiant complexion the way the Guerlain Meteorites pearls do.
The formulation is finely-milled and smooth. Apply with a large fluffy brush all over the face to attain the "light filtering" effect.

Overall:
The idea behind the product is not new as many brands have their own version of the "light-filtering" powder but the marketing of the Too Faced Selfie Powders is quite genius. I found no big difference between the three shades (when applied on the face anyways) but all of them made the skin look more bright and radiant. So all in all, I really like these and compared to similar products from other brands, the value of the Too Faced palette is quite good.

Availability:
The Too Faced Selfie Powders Palette is currently only available online at Too Faced and will soon be available at Sephora.
