Disclaimer: Product featured was provided for review.
Just in time for Mother's Day comes a beautiful new addition to the L'Occitane La Collection De Grasse. Made with two different types of iris floral water extract, Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc ($75 CAD for 75ml) features a unique scent profile that's uniquely warm and cool at the same time. The Bottle:
Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc comes in the classic La Collection De Grasse rectangular clear glass bottle. However, unlike the other scents from the series, Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc features a beautiful hot-stamped gold iris bouquet design on the back of the bottle that peeks through two layers of glass to create a beautiful effect. The perfume is lightly tinted purple and the cap is made of a matte gold metal.

The Scent:
Top Notes: Blackcurrant and citrus.
Heart Notes: Iris, ylang ylang, and peach.
Base Notes: Iris, cedar, and white musk.

Upon first whiff, the citrus and iris are both quite strong. After about half an hour, all the notes blend together to form a fruity floral scent that's fresh and warm at the same time. The blue Iris pallida comes from Grasse, the French town known as the perfume capital of the world while the white Iris florentina comes from the Mediterranean. The white iris has a sweeter floral note while  the blue iris has a more intense floral scent. Overall, the scent is very alluring yet sweet and warm at the same time, it's not a traditional floral as it's a lot fruitier and more inviting.

In addition to the Eau de Toilette, the Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc collection includes a whole selection of body products, including a Body Milk ($32 CAD), Shower Gel ($26 CAD), Hand Cream ($12 CAD), and Perfumed Soap ($8 CAD).
Left: Hand Cream; Right: Shower Gel
