Out of all the different face mask types, mud masks are my absolute favorite. So when I saw that Sephora has released the new Mud Mask Purifying & Mattifying ($24 CAD) made with zinc and copper, I was absolutely ecstatic to give it a go and I can tell you right now that this mask is pretty darn amazing. Packaging:
The mud mask comes in a fancy double-layered plastic jar. The design is super sleek and the jar has a nice weight to it that makes it feel extra luxurious.

Formulation:
A thick, kaolin-based mask, this product is infused with zinc and copper which promise to deeply cleanse the skin. What I love most about the mask are the orange peel powder chunks that act as an exfoliating agent. During application, I scrub it into the skin before letting it set for an extra bit of exfoliation. The product feels cooling and relaxing and unlike most clay masks, it dries very quickly, drawing out extra sebum and impurities without having to wait too long. When this is washed off, my skin looks super clean and supple!

Overall:
You need to try this! At $24 CAD, this is honestly one of the best clay masks I've ever tried. It's cooling and comforting on the skin and it immediately draws out extra sebum, making it great for oily-skinned people. Also, with the orange peel chunks mixed in, this mask doubles as a gentle scrub!

Availability:
Sephora Collection is available online and in stores at Sephora.
