Each year, Calvin Klein releases a limited edition update of its beloved unisex fragrance CK One Summer ($74 CAD for 100ml). For most of the previous editions, the fragrance teeters between a citrus blast and a cocktail mix but the 2016 version is definitely one-of-a-kind, balancing between more of a fresh citrus and a feminine floral. Packaging:
The 2016 CK One Summer comes in the classic flask-shaped glass bottle. This year, though, the bottle is tinted green, featuring blue embossings of palm leaves. The backside of the galss is even pressed with a palm leaf design. The bottle seriously screams summer; it's fun and colorful without being over-the-top.

The Scent:
Top Notes: Lime, mojito, ginger, apple, and lemon.
Heart Notes: Guava, tiare flower, and juniper.
Base Notes: Cedarwood, coconut milk, moss.

Opening with a refreshing splash of lime and ginger, CK One Summer mellows into a slightly more citrus floral that's a lot softer and more feminine compared to the past CK One Summer editions. Despite the mojito notes, this fragrance is not your typical cocktail blend. There's a surprising touch of warmth and sweetness from the cedar, moss, and coconut milk, making this a rather well-rounded summer scent. The wear is unfortunately not great, the smell fades within hours and the sillage is weak.
