Too Faced has some fun new liquid eyeliners! Available now in stores and online, the Sketch Marker Liquid Art Eyeliners ($26 CAD) are inspired by Japanese calligraphy pens. Offered in a wide array of colorful shades (canary yellow, anyone?), these liquid eyeliners promise a waterproof wear. So how well do these work? Read on to find out by clicking.......

Packaging:
The Too Face Sketch Markers come in an adorable pen with a felt-tip applicator. Each shade has a unique quote embossed along the body of the pen. Although these are supposedly inspired by Japanese calligraphy pens, the design is nothing too revolutionary. Unfortunately, the felt-tip is quite stiff. I'm sure they will soften with use but I find it a tad poke-y on the eyes. Also, because the tip is stiff, it tends to drag on the lids and make jagged edges instead of smooth lines.

Formulation:
Available in a wide array of beautiful shades, the Too Faced Sketch Markers promise a non-feathering and waterproof formulation. I'll admit that all three shades I have here all very pigmented but the formulation is not very waterproof! In fact, it smudges pretty easily after getting wet.

"Deep Navy Blue" is an inky, almost black blue and "Steel Blue" is a medium robin's egg blue. "Charcoal Black" is a simple pitch black. Overall, I love the cute packaging design but both the applicator and the formulation is a letdown. The color selection is definitely impressive, but if wear and easy application is important to you, keep on looking!
