DIY iPhone Case

Back in 2012, I had a lab partner who had a clear iphone case which she would decorate by inserting a piece of picture she likes between the clear backing of her case and her phone. I thought it was such a genius idea that when I received my new iphone, I went on a hunt for a case with a clear backing. I had quite some trouble finding a nice one in phone service stores like Rogers or Bell, they had very few clear cases, and the few they have are very bulky. I thankfully found some really nice and sleek ones in a phone case kiosk in the mall. I picked up a couple of these clear phone cases for around $15 CAD. To see a tutorial on how I did this, click......

Find a picture you like and cut it so that it fits inside the case against the backing, you may want to do this with a scrap paper first in case you mess up the first time. Then the tricky part for me was getting a neat cutout for the camera lens, I used nail clippers, but if you have those tiny scissors or fancy hole punchers, then those would probably work better.
Then you can decorate the background you cut out by putting on some stickers like I did (make sure they are thin and not bulky, because you still want your phone to fit nicely in the case). Then you just pop your artwork into the case and put your phone into its fancy new home!
