Hi everyone, I would like to report to you guys that I was extra good last month at using up all my deluxe and foil samples. Here I have compiled a list of all the things I finished and and gave each of them a quick review, to read them, click......1. Aveda Caribbean Therapy Body Creme:
Finally finished this tube, the scent of this cream isn't my favourite and I found that if I apply too much it leaves a strange residue.
2. Tree Hut Shea Body Butter:
This cream smells very good, unlike most shea butter, which I find smell kind of funny. The butter was pretty solid and hard first at first, but the consistency turned nice and soft after a few uses.
Repurchase? No, probably not, there are so many body butter choices out there.
3. Clinique Clarifying Lotion in #2:
I was quite surprised by this toner because it hydrated my skin nicely after a shower and really improved my skin. I really notice a difference now that I am not using it.
Repurchase? Maybe, I want to try out a few more things first.
4. Josie Maran Argan Oil:
I was really excited about this product at first, but I found it didn't really do much for me and I eventually struggled to find a use for it.
5. Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil:
I found that this didn't really clean very well. It also claimed to turn into a milky cleanser when water was added but to my disappointment that did not happen.
6. LA Fresh Nail Polish Remover:
I was surprised by the efficiency of the wipes, much better than what I use at home. Then I realized that these have acetone in them, so of course they are better than my acetone-free ones. They are quite pricey for a small set and are more of an travel item.
7. Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil- Free Cleanser:
I love this, it lathers so nicely and makes my face feel soooo clean. Where has this been all my life (hiding in Kiehl's apparently).
8. Kiehl's Calendula Herbal Extract Toner:
Over glorified water, it did nothing for my skin.
9. Soap and Glory Face Soap:
I did not enjoy this cleanser at all. It didn't lather and well....... it smelled like soap, not the good kind, but almost like the antibacterial hand soaps. Very unpleasant.
10. Julep Rock Star Hand Creme:
This cream is very perfumed and that irritates me a bit; however it did make my hands feel amazingly soft.
Repurchase? Yes/No I am so torn.
11. Murad Time Release Concentrate:
There was not a lot of cream in the sample and I did not notice any difference in my skin, but it is hard to say with anti-aging samples because the small sample sizes really don't allow you to see whether or not a product really works.
12. Julep Glycolic Hand Scrub:
I don't know what this was supposed to smell like, but it smelled so disgusting I had trouble finishing it.
Repurchase? Nopity nope no!
Another month, another set of empties.......
Have you guys tried any of these products, any that you really liked or disliked?
Thanks for reading, byebye!
