For this manicure, I was inspired by those pinstripe tissue papers the sales associate uses to wrap your purchases at department stores. I used striping tape to achieve the look and I'm glad the lines turned out alright. To see more pics and the colors I used, click......
Both colors I used I got from the
Julep warehouse sale a while back. I did a base of three coats of "
Otte" and over the
striping tape (striping tutorial
here) I used a thick coat of "
Olivia" to get the pinstripe effect.
I think this manicure is pretty unique and it actually look better in person than in the close ups as you get a better picture of the pinstripe pattern.
