Göt2b Rise 'n Shine Glistening Full Blow Dry Cream & Guardian Angel Frizz Taming Hairspray: Review

Disclaimer: Products featured were provided for review.
Hi everyone, today I have two new spring releases from göt2b to share with you! If you opened the cabinet where I store all my haircare products, you would probably be overwhelmed by the amount of göt2b stuff I own (hair serum, hair spray, hair powder, hair conditioning gel......)! The reason that I love göt2b so much is because they have such a wide selection of products targeting various hair concerns and most of all, their price is always so affordable!

göt2b Rise 'n Shine Glistening Full Body Blow Dry Cream ($7.99 CAD for 147ml):

What it does:
-Provides hair with glamorous fulness that lasts for 4 hours or more
-Protects hair from the heat of the blow dryer
-Leaves hair soft and shiny without weighing it down

Result:
I applied a small amount of the product to my hair before blow drying and I noticed that it significantly decreased the drying time. It didn't give the hair any additional shine but it did leave my hair lighter and fluffier than usual. Instead of making the hair feeling silky and soft (which often translates to limp and hard to style), it made the hair more textured, which makes it easier to style.
I personally didn't love the product because it didn't give me the smoothness I wanted but my mom has been using this product religiously every single day and she absolutely loves it!
She has short and thin hair that lacks volume and after she uses this on her hair during blow drying, her hair actually looks about 3 times bigger! After styling it with a comb with no additional product, the Blow Dry Cream kept her volume going for at least four hours after blow drying.

Overall:
I would recommend this to those with shorter, thin hair looking for volume. For those looking for a product that conditions and gives shine, I'd say keep on looking because this one doesn't really do either of those.
The blow dry cream comes in a funky round disc shaped bottle.
göt2b Guardian Angel Frizz Taming Hairspray ($9.99 for 340g studio-size):

What it does:
-Combat frizz and delivers a 90% humidity defense
-Deflects moisture and prevents fly-aways
-Protects and holds your hair style

Result:
Hairspray is a must for me whenever I curl my hair because the high humidity level in Vancouver coupled with the texture of my hair makes it very hard for the curls to stay. I tried this hairspray three times already and I have to say I am very impressed. Firstly, I love the aerosol nozzle action on this guy! This nozzle dispenses a fine, even mist; it works better than all the other hairsprays I have used in the past! Secondly, I like that the product has a nice refreshing scent that doesn't smell overwhelmingly like alcohol. And lastly, this really held my curls in place without making my hair hard or crunchy. Even on the day after I style my hair, the hairspray is doing its job, keeping my hair in a natural wave. I can't evaluate the product in terms of frizz taming properties because I don't do up-dos or tight ponytails where I would actually use the hairspray to smooth down my hair.

Overall:
I love this product and I recommend it for anyone looking for a good strong hold hairspray!
