Essence Bloom Me Up! Collection: Review and Swatches

Disclaimer: Products featured are provided for review.
Hi everyone, happy Saturday! I hope you are all doing well. Today I have a few items from the Essence's Bloom Me Up! Spring Collection to show you! This collection includes some beautiful fresh pastel colors perfect for the spring months, to read more, click.......

Bloom Me Up! Shimmer Powder (01 Rose it Up!):
What it is:
-A delicate highlighter for your face and neckline
-The rosy beige shimmer has an intricate floral pattern on the surface

Packaging:
The highlighter comes in a large clear acrylic compact. The surface of the powder has a beautiful floral pattern etched on it; the design sweeps away after just a few uses but it was still very unique and pretty while it lasted.

Pigmentation & Formulation:
The color of highlighter is a very cool shimmery white leaning a bit pink. The powder is finely milled and fairly pigmented but the formulation felt a little dry, not buttery and creamy like I would have liked. Overall though, for such an affordable price, this is a nice one to have in your collection!
Mono eyeshadows in 02 Rose it Up!, 03 Blow My Mint, & 01 Blommylicious; Bloom Me Up! Shimmer Powder
What they are:
-Highly pigmented eyeshadows that blend easily
-Each lovely spring colors have a gorgeous floral design imprinted on the powder surface

Packaging:
Each eyeshadow comes in small clear, round clear acrylic compacts. I noticed that the pans weren't properly adhered to the compact so that when I tried to swatch the product, the shadow pans moved around quite a bit.

Pigmentation & Formulation:
01 Bloomylicious: This one is a very light white shimmer leaning pink; it makes a great inner highlight color.
02 Rose it Up!: Despite looking very rosy in the pan, this one is only slightly pinker than Bloomylicious.
03 Blow My Mint: This one is a shimmery white leaning mint.
As you can see from the swatches above. All three shadows are quite sheer. The formulation is fairly soft and powdery but the color just doesn't build up, making all three highlight colors at best. If you do like the design, which I have to say is quite cute, I suggest picking up just one because they are all pretty similar to each other.
Along with the shadows and highlighter, I also have some nail stickers (nail lace tips) from the collection. These have a very cute lace patterned french manicure design. Each package comes with two sheets and each sheet has 40 tips of two different designs.
I tried them on and they were quite flexible and adhered very well. The only problem was that they were all too small for my fingers and because the edges are curved, they don't really work with square tip nails.
I will try to do a look with them in the near future to show you how they look on the nails.
So there you have it, just a sampling of the Essence Bloom It Up! Spring Collection, the collection also includes several nail polishes, blush sticks, lipsticks, and even a few makeup brushes. Head on over to Essence online to check them out!
