Dermalogica Spring Skin Event

A couple days ago, I had the pleasure of attending a Spring Skin event held by Dermalogica International Dermal Institute. This was my first time attending a Dermalogica event and I learned a lot about the different skincare ranges and tips and tricks to keep the skin hydrated and protected during the warmer weather.

At the Vancouver Dermalogica Training Center, I was greeted by the Dermalogica team; the skin experts had different stations set up showcasing the variety of skin care products Dermalogica has to offer.
I got to play around with the Protection Sport SPF 50, the texture or the product is super light it's almost hard to believe it gives a SPF 50 sun protection!
The Clear Start line is the one that I am the most familiar with (read my review of the Clear Start Foaming Cleanser and All Over Toner spray here) as I still suffer from mild acne. The line is divided up into different steps that work together to not only treat acne but also moisturize and protect the skin.
For those with sensitive skin, Dermalogica's UltraCalming range will really help reduce inflammation and alleviate sensitivity as the products are formulated with ingredients like cucumber, oatmeal, and lavender.
After getting an overview of all the different products from Dermalogica, we were given a presentation from Holly, Dermalogica's Education Manager. She provided some great tips on how to protect the skin by layering different skincare and makeup products that contain SPF.
We also tested out the effectiveness of the PreCleanse Wipes, which works by emulsifying oil and makeup; it removed my eyeliner-drawn leaf and the makeup base underneath with no effort at all!
At the end of the event, we got to take home an adorable Dermalogica goodie bag featuring several top rated products from the brand. I really enjoyed the event and learnt quite a bit about Dermalogica products. Did you know Dermalogica also offer skin mapping and skin treatment services at its treatment centers? Pretty cool indeed.
I cannot wait to test out the products I got, reviews to come soon so keep an eye out! Thanks for stopping by, have a good day!
