All About Purple from Cosmetic Proof: August Canadian Beauty Bloggers Guest Post

Happy Monday everyone, today I am bringing to you the August guest post from my fellow Canadian Beauty Blogger Jayne from Cosmetic Proof . To find out what her favorite purple beauty products are, keep on reading!
Hi Everyone! I'm Jayne from Cosmetic Proof and I am psyched to be on Jasmine's blog today! This month's CBB guest-post theme is all about the color purplewhich, if I were forced to choose, is my favourite colour. It's a colour I gravitate to in my accessories, clothing and of course cosmetics!
Wonderstruck is a fragrance I grudgingly bought because I could not deny any longer that I liked this scent by the awkwardly talented Taylor Swift. It is slightly floral with fruity undertones and although it is a little heavy for summer, I love it for the rest of the year. I also grudgingly love the sparkly purple bottle.
In the nail polish department (swatches in links), Rainbow Honey "Lumine Hall", Lime Crime "Lavendairy" and OPI DS "Extravagance" reign as my favourite purple polishes. Lumine Hall is just incredibly unique in its glitter combination and is still a polish I have yet to see duplicated. Lavendairy was a gift from the lovely Traci of Drinkcitra when Lime Crime polishes still weren't available to Canadians and is an opaque, creamy bright lavender that I use for nail art quite a bit. DS Extravagance was one of the first nail polishes I ever purchased so it holds a special place in my heart in addition to being an amazing colour and having a wonderful formulation!
The NYX Slide On, Glide On, Stay On etc, aka longest official name for a product ever, is my favourite drugstore version of the Urban Decay 24/7 liners. I have them in almost every colour and I highly recommend them. Purple Blaze is slightly metallic and is dark enough to use in place of a black or brown liner. The Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencil in the shade Delinquent is a glittery purple with an almost black base that can be used as a liner or eyeshadow. These shadow pencils are an absolute staple for me as they last all day on my eyes and are quick and dirty to use when pressed for time!
Purple is a colour that let's me have some fun, but is not leaps and bounds away from black or brown that I feel like I can't wear it in a professional or more serious environment. How do you wear purple?

Thanks to Jayne for the post for August! Check out her blog here and the rest of the other CBB purple themed posts here:
