Bio Beaute by Nuxe Vitamin-Rich Detox Mask: Review
Face masks is one of my favorite skin care categories and today I have a great detox mask from Bio Beaute by Nuxe to help ring in the new year. The Vitamin-Rich Detox Mask with Orange Water ($27 CAD) is formulated with orange, lemon, and mandarin essential oils in addition to a variety of other amazing ingredients. How well does it work, read on to find out.......
Bio Beaute by Nuxe Vitamin-Rich Detox Mask: Review
Key Ingredients:
Myrtle Leaf Extract: detoxifies the skin, boosts skin's immune system by neutralizing free radicals
Citrus Essential Oils: combination of orange, lemon, mandarin essential oils purifies the skin
Sesame Oil & Sugar Esters: moisturizes and nourishes
Beta-carotene: provides skin with instant glow

Formulation:
The masks has a unique formulation that works in three stages. The rich, thick, gel mask traps impurities upon application. The mask heats up a bit as well when you spread it across the skin, it has a subtle nice carrot/citrus scent. After leaving the mask on the skin for five to ten minutes, gently massage it into the skin and it will turn into a fine oil. The oil helps eliminate finer particles trapped in the skin. Finally, when the mask is rinsed off with water, it emulsifies and turns into a milky texture.
The mask is very nourishing and leaves the skin glowy, plump, and refreshed. The only criticism I have is that despite the fact the mask emulsifies after it touches water, it's still quite tough to wash off easily.

Overall:
This is a great mask for those with sensitive to normal skin that wants a bit of nourishment and pampering. Also, the price is quite reasonable as well!

Availability:
Nuxe is available in stores at Murale, Shoppers Drug Mart, and The Bay.
