Inspired by the sophisticated Manhattan life, the new Tarte Park Ave Princess Collection celebrates all things luxurious and glam. Cloaked in a veil of shiny metallic gold, the range offers a trio of neutral, wearable eye and cheek colors. Tarte | Park Ave Princess Chisel Palette
Tarte | Park Ave Princess Chisel Palette ($60 CAD):
Housed in an exquisite rose gold palette embossed with a glam crocodile print, the Park Ave Princess Chisel Palette offers six shades of highlight and contour. Each pan holds 4.5g of product and they are all magnetically attached to the palette. Tarte doesn't offer individual refill pans so I'm not sure why the shades are removable. However, I guess the design is convenient for makeup artists that customize their own palettes.
Out of the six shades, two are highlighters and four are contour/bronzers. Formulation-wise, every single color is excellent. Lightly-scented with a sweet vanilla and finely-milled with Amazonian clay, mineral pigments, and vitamin E, the powders are silky, smooth, and nicely pigmented. See below for a breakdown of all six shades. Overall, this is an excellent everyday contour palette and because the shades are so beautifully pigmented, they also work perfectly as neutral eyeshadows.
Tarte | Park Ave Princess Chisel Palette
Angle: A matte neutral tan, Angle works well as a natural bronzer or contour shade for warmer skin tones.
Princess Cut: This is a cool-tone light taupe that's perfect for sculpting lighter skin tones.
Carat: This is a warm golden brown with a subtle hint of sheen. The formulation is extra buttery and smooth.
Enhance: A matte ivory with just a hint of banana yellow, this is a great highlighter for the undereye area.
Halo: This is a light neutral ivory matte, perfect for brow bone or cheek highlight.
Crown: A deeper bronze with a subtle hint of golden sparkles, Crown is super rich and pigmented.

Tart | Park Ave Princess Amazonian Clay Bronzer
Tarte | Park Ave Princess Amazonian Clay Bronzer ($38 CAD):
Available in several different packaging formats (faux leather case, faux croc leather case, and rose gold metallic faux leather case studded with the "Park Ave Princess" logo), the Amazonia Clay Bronzer in "Park Ave Princess" is a sophisticated cool light tan infused with a subtle hint of golden sheen. The formulation is very finely-milled and non-streaky. The pigmentation is semi-sheer but highly buildable, making it easy to apply without going overboard. I'm honestly not a big bronzer person but even I can appreciate how flattering and natural this shade is.

Tart | Park Ave Princess Chrome Paint Shadow Pot
Tarte | Park Ave Princess Chrome Paint Shadow Pot ($27 CAD):
Available in five other colors, the Chrome Paint Shadow Pot is a loose metallic eyeshadow formulated with 80% pure pearl pigments. The powder is housed in a nice glass jar and it has a unique, chunky texture that's a little messy to work with. The shade "Park Ave Princess" is a rich golden brown. It is unbelievably pigmented and buildable, giving the lids a shiny, foil-like finish. Although crumbly-looking, the formulation is creamy and easy to blend. It's sort of similar to the Tarte Foil Finger Paints (reviewed here) but instead of being pressed in a pan, it is loosely packed in a jar.
