NEST New York | Wild Mint & Eucalyptus Candle (C$62 for 230 g):To be honest, when I first heard the name of this collection, I was not super excited because to me, both mint and eucalyptus are such strong herbal scents. Based on the name alone, I was expecting a very cold and medicinal smell so I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this was not the case. While still maintaining that fresh and sinus-clearing profile one would expect, the NEST Wild Mint & Eucalyptus Candle offers a hint of sweetness and warmth thanks to the additional notes of thai ginger and basil. I also detect some citrus flavor but the scent description doesn't explicitly mention that. The Wild Mint & Eucalyptus Candle is available in three sizes. It comes in the classic NEST jar embossed with a frosted vertical stripe design. I particularly like that the candle wax is tinted to complement the scent, which I feel that the brand does not do often enough.
If a reed diffuser is more of your thing, NEST has got you covered as all of their scent collections are available in both the candle and diffuser format. Sharing the same invigorating but not medicinal smell as the Wild Mint & Eucalyptus Candle, this reed diffuser comes in an elegant glass bottle embossed with the same classy striped design. Like the candle, the diffuser liquid is tinted a light green to match the scent and with all 8 reeds inserted, the scent will last up to 3 months. Overall, as someone who generally prefers fruity, floral, and gourmand home fragrances, I found the Wild Mint & Eucalyptus Collection to be surprisingly refreshing while still bringing a hint of sweetness.
