Well, it's finally happened! I got Covid! Just when I thought I was lucky enough to dodge the bullet for the past two and half years, Covid hit me like a freight train. Therefore, I've been out of commission for the week, slowly recovering from my symptoms. So today I thought I'd gather what little energy I have and share with you a couple of new skincare products from Charlotte Tilbury. Housed in a tall plastic bottle with a flat spout opening, the Glow Toner from Charlotte Tilbury is described as a "pore-refining, acid-free hydrating toner" made with pore-refining niacinamide, nourishing shea butter, exfoliating prickly pear extract, and regenerating peptides. With a light floral scent and a milky, slightly viscous consistency, the Charlotte Tilbury Glow Toner feels more like an essence than a toner. It's worth noting that because the bottle is not squeezable, it's actually kind of hard to dispense the viscous toner. The packaging design definitely needs some revision to accommodate the consistency of the product.
The Glow Toner spreads very nicely onto the skin and it feels instantly hydrating. It absorbs nicely with no greasy or sticky residue and because it doesn't contain any traditional chemical exfoliates (ex. AHA or BHA), the formulation feels gentle and non-sensitizing. Personally, I feel that the Glow Toner is more of a hydrating toner with pore-refining properties. It's definitely not as smoothing as some of the stronger AHA toners I've tried in the past but it also doesn't have any drying side effects, making it great for sensitive skin. If you are looking for a more serious "glow", though, I would recommend checking out something like the Pixi Glow Tonic (reviewed here).

Packaged in a glass dropper bottle identical to the one for Charlotte's Magic Serum Crystal Elixir (reviewed here), the Collagen Superfusion Facial Oil is a nourishing facial oil formulated with plant-derived collagen intended to firm and plump the skin. Made with avocado oil, olive oil, sunflower oil, primrose oil, raspberry seed oil, and a plethora of other nourishing oils, the Collagen Superfusion Facial Oil has a fairly viscous oil consistency and a slightly herbal scent. It's worth noting that because avocado oil and olive oil are both quite high on the comedogenic scale, the Collagen Superfusion Facial Oil is probably not great for acne-prone skin as it may congest the pores. However, if you have dry to very dry skin, this oil would be very nourishing. Needless to say, the Collagen Superfusion Facial Oil feels slightly heavy and greasy on the skin. I personally would not use it for the daytime but it is very rich and replenishing for the nighttime.
