The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil & Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-up Remover: Review

Disclaimer: Products featured are provided for review.
Hi everyone, today I have a couple of cleansing products from The Body Shop's Camomile line, the Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil ($18.00) and the Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-up Remover ($15.50). Both infused with fair trade camomile, these two products work gently and effectively to remove makeup and dirt from skin. To read more, click.......

Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil ($18.00):
What it is:
-A silky-soft oil cleanser that removes waterproof makeup quickly and effectively
-Leaves skin feeling refreshed and clean
-Appropriate for sensitive skin

How to use:
Massage over dry skin and rinse off with warm water.

Formulation & Effectiveness:
The cleansing oil has a very nice floral scent, I am not certain if it's a camomile scent as I only know the smell of camomile from camomile tea. The oil feels a bit harder and dryer compared to other cleansing oils I have tried but it is very effective. It removed my foundation, water proof gel liner, mascara, and lipstick all in one go. It rinses off nicely too, leaving the skin feeling nice and moisturized. Of course like any cleansing oil, the product will not foam so it won't give you that squeaky clean feel, so if that is something you look for in a cleanser, this may not be for you.

What it is:
-Efficient make-up remover that works on the most stubborn waterproof eye and lip makeup
-Oil based formulation that is activated when shaken.
-Suitable for sensitive skin

How to use:
Shake well to activate, sweep over eye/lips using a cotton pad.

Formulation & Effectiveness:
This makeup remover also has a subtle floral scent. When mixed, the formulation is not too different from the cleansing oil. It removed waterproof makeup very well but I definitely prefer the cleansing oil because with the cleansing oil I can really rub the skin with my hands, instead of using a dainty little cotton ball, which actually feels rougher than my hands. Also with the cleansing oil, I can wash it off of my face right afterwards but this product doesn't rinse off quite as cleanly as the oil. With that said though, this makeup remover is substantially better than other removers I have tried in the past.

Overall:
I would recommend both of these products. If you prefer a more traditional makeup remover, then you would love the Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-up Remover. But you want an even deeper full face cleanser that's both effective and convenient, definitely check out the Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil!

Availability:
The Body Shop products are available online or in stores at The Body Shop.
