Earth Day Beauty featuring Lush Emotional Brilliance Liquid Lipsticks in "Decisive" & "Believe": Review and Swatches

Disclaimer: Products featured were provided for review.
Earth Day is on the 22nd of this month and to celebrate, I am doing a couple of posts featuring makeup products from Lush, the well beloved brand known for its eco-friendly and cruelty-free bath and body products. But did you know Lush also has a makeup line called "Emotional Brilliance"?
The Emotional Brilliance line features various lip, eye, and face products and each product has an inspirational word as a name, so when you wear that product you can be empowered by that word.
The two products I have here are two Liquid Lipsticks ($18.95) in the shade "Decisive" and "Believe", to read more and see some swatches, click......

What they are:
-Highly pigmented lipsticks made of 100% vegan ingredients
-Long lasting and moisturizing
-Can be used on the cheeks as a blush and has a matte finish
-Not tested on animal
-Recyclable packaging

Key Ingredients:
-Jojoba oil
-Candelilla shrub wax
-Rose wax

Packaging:
The Lush Emotional Brilliance liquid lipsticks are packaged in unconventional small glass bottles inspired by Lush Spas. The cap is shaped kind of like a medicine dropper so I \ initially thought the product dispensed from a glass dropper. The liquid lipstick has a standard doe-foot applicator. I found the product a bit hard to apply neatly with the doe foot applicator given how intense the colors are so I opted for a lip brush during application.
Doe-foot applicator.
Formulation & Pigmentation:
Decisive: Described as a "pin-up, vintage cherry red", Decisive is a very beautiful deep red with a very opaque and slightly viscous formulation. It applied smoothly and set to a nice satin finish. It felt weightless on the lips and was quite moisturizing. The formulation was creamy and not waxy.
Believe: Described as a "raspberry ice-cream pink", Believe is a very summery and bright coral red. This too was very pigmented but the formulation wasn't quite as smooth as Decisive. During application I noticed there were some small chunks in the liquid lipstick. They disappeared after I blended it out with my brush but it still interfered with the application. It felt very lightweight and moisturizing on the lips.

Longevity:
The liquid lipsticks don't set completely like the ones from Stila or Kat Von D so it will still transfer. But because the formulation is so packed with pigmentation, the color will last through minimal eating and drinking.

Here are some lip swatches:

Pros:
-Highly pigmented
-Creamy and moisturizing formulation
-All natural, 100% vegan ingredients
-Recyclable packaging

Cons:
-Clumsy applicator
-Formulation for Believe was a tad chunky (most likely a manufacture flaw)
-Not transfer-proof

Overall:
I think these are really great vegan alternatives to traditional, well known liquid lipstick from other brands. The colors are just as pigmented but they are a bit lacking in terms of wear. But for standard lip colors, the pigmentation and wear is quite phenomenal!

Availability:
The Lush Emotional Brilliance Liquid Lipsticks are available in a total of 13 shades online and in stores at Lush.
