Too Faced La Crème Color Drenched Lip Cream in "Cinnamon Kiss", "Jelly Bean" & "Loganberry": Review and Swatches

Way back in February there was a Sephora V.I.B sale and I took the opportunity to snag a few Too Faced La Creme Color Drenched Lip Creams ($26 CAD) because they had been on my wishlist forever. So today (six months later... I know, I have a huge backlog) I wanted to share with you some swatches of the three colors I bought, to read more, click.......

Packaging:

The La Creme lipsticks come in super fancy matte gold tubes with the Too Faced logo embossed on the side. The lipsticks have a really nice weight to them and I think I have voiced this quite a few times in the past but lipsticks with a nice weight to them automatically feels a gazillion times more luxurious so well done Too Faced!

Formulation:

All the La Creme lipsticks have a super creamy, rich, and buttery texture. They feel very nourishing on the lips and I love that they are also hydrating. However, the creamy texture does compromise the wear as the products will transfer and fade throughout the day. Depending on the shade, I usually get around three to four hours of wear.

Cinnamon Kiss: This one is the most gorgeous warm mauve-y cinnamon pink. It's the quintessential my lips but better color and it is just so easy to pull off. I do have to note that the shade is no longer available online or in stores at my local Sephora. I am not sure if the color is actually discontinued as I can't find any info online but if any of you know what the dealio is, let me know because I definitely see myself purchasing another one of these!

Cinnamon Kiss

Jelly Bean: Described as a raspberry pink, Jelly Bean is a bold and gorgeous berry pink. The formulation is super pigmented but the finish is very juicy and jelly-like.

Loganberry: This is a deep berry pink just a few shades darker than Jelly Bean. I have no idea why I needed both Jelly Bean and Loganberry but at the time I was convinced that I needed both shades. Again the color is extremely pigmented but still gives that juicy and jelly-like finish.
Also, this is another shade that I am no longer seeing online, I honestly don't know if it's limited edition and has sold out or if it's just temporarily out of stock.

Loganberry

Here are some arm swatches of the shades, as you can see, Loganberry and Jelly Bean are very similar, with Loganberry being slightly darker.

Overall:

I absolutely adore these lipsticks. The lasting power isn't great but the formulation is super moisturizing and the pigmentation is phenomenal. Cinnamon Kiss has been my go to lip color ever since I bought it in February and the other two berry shades are perfect for when I want to go a bit bolder.
