The Body Shop Color Crush Nails Nail Polish in "A Sunny Affair", "Cupid Pink" & "Mad About Blue": Review and Swatches
Late last year, The Body Shop released the Color Crush Nails ($6 CAD each) nail polish line. Highly pigmented with a gorgeous shine, the polishes are 100% vegan and infused with marula oil. For the Smoky Poppy Spring 2015 Collection, a few new shades have been added to the line so to check out some swatches and my thoughts on the formulation, click......
A Sunny Affair: A soft baby yellow cream, A Sunny Affair has a nice but sheer formulation that took three full coats to cover the nails. The drying time is decent and the finish is very shiny.

Three coats with no top coat.
Cupid Pink: This is a warm bright pink with a jelly-like finish. The color is also slightly sheer and I had to use three coats on some nails and two on the others.

Two to three coats with no top coat.
Mad About Blue: An intense medium blue, this shade is also slightly sheer. I used two to three coats to create full opacity. Although sheer, the formulation is smooth and easy to work with.

Two to three coats with no top coat.
Overall:
All three shades were quite sheer to my surprise as I needed three coats to obtain opacity. With that said the formulation is still very easy to work with and the finish is very shiny and gel-like. I say skip on A Sunny Affair and Mad About Blue and pick up Cupid Pink.
