Packaging:
The Velvetease Lip Pencils come in cute twist-up crayon pencils. The lip colors are pre-sharpened so they should remain fairly pointed as long as you apply it evenly each time. The crayons are only 1.5g each, which is about half of the regular lipsticks.

Formulation:
Just as their name suggests, these lovely lip crayons feature an absolutely velvety and smooth formulation. Pigmented and virtually weightless, the Velvetease Lip Pencils glide on the lips with absolutely no effort at all. The formulation is moderately moisturizing, but I think the most notable drawback is the shorter wear time. The colors are quite prone to smudging but the darker shades do leave behind a nice tint of color.
Just Add Romance: This is a bright true red matte, the pigmentation is very intense.
Frolic: A soft peach nude, Frolic is slightly sheerer compared to the other two shades. This shade accentuates the fine lines of the lips quite a bit, which makes them appear unfortunately dry and wrinkly.
Reddy to Go: This is a dark red with a slight brick tint; the formulation is a bit patchy but with a few layers it's mostly even.
