Birchbox Canada January 2016 Unboxing
Hi everyone, today I want to share with you what I received in my January Birchbox Canada subscription ($14.95 CAD, shipping included). The box arrived pretty late this month but let's take a quick look inside! To read on, click.......
January 2016 Birchbox Canada
Fave4 Texture Takeover Oomph Enhancing Hairspray ($21 CAD for Full Size): I've never heard of Fave4 before but I don't really use hairsprays nowadays. However, travel-sized hairsprays can come in pretty handy.

Juara Candlenut Body Cream ($49 CAD for Full Size): This is the second month in a roll that I've received a Juara product. I am not super keen on hand cream and lotion samples but mini tubes like these are great for travelling.

BioRepublic Skincare Cucumber Breeze Smoothing Mask ($21 CAD for 3-Pack): I love sheet masks so I always like trying new ones. BioRepublic is actually an US brand as well, which you don't see lots of with sheet mask companies.

Too Cool for School Dinoplatz Pearl Bay Invasion Shimmering Highlighter in "#2 Baby Pink Clam" ($40 CAD for Full Size): Definitely the most interesting product in the box, the Dinoplatz Pearl Bay Invasion Shimmering Highlighter (such a wacky name) is a cream highlight from a Korean brand called Too Cool for School. The formulation is nice and the shade is a pretty peachy gold pink. The 5ml mini tube is really the perfect size in my opinion because I can't imagine ever using up more than 5ml of a highlighter within a reasonable number of years.

TonyMoly Delight Tony Tint in "#2 Red" ($6 CAD for Full Size): This is a little sample of a simple red lip stain. Given how inexpensive the full-sized product is, I was kind of surprised that I didn't get the full-sized product. With that said, the sample is very decently-sized, but the packaging definitely is not as cute as the full-sized.

Overall:
This is my third box from Birchbox Canada and I'm quite happy that it contained two makeup items, which is more than the previous two months' combined! I hope this trend continues as I am a much bigger fan of sample makeup than sample skincare. I don't have a particular favorite from this box but I like that Birchbox introduced some Korean brands, which is always fun.
