Essie Winter 2016 Swatches and Review
Inspired by the party life of 1960's London town, the Essie Winter 2016 Getting Groovy Collection has some fun yet sophisticated shades on the docket. Today I have full swatches and reviews of the whole collection to share with you. To read on, click.......

Ready to Boa:
A dark brown packed with iridescent shimmers with a red and gold duo-chrome effect, Ready to Boa is very pigmented and super easy to apply. It was almost a one-coater but I used two coats just in case.

Essie Winter 2016 | Ready to Boa, two coats with no top coat.
Party on a Platform:
This is a rich deep red cream. The formulation is not as pigmented as I expected but the application was trouble-free and opaque with two coats.

Oh Behave!:
I am usually not a fan of peaches but Oh Behave! is a lovely soft coral with a subtle splash of peachy gold shimmers. The formulation was great; I used two coats for the swatches below.

Getting Groovy:
A pale sparkling gold shimmer, Getting Groovy felt slightly sheer on its first coat but with two coats the coverage was excellent!

Satin Sister:
A deep and inky teal cream, Satin Sister is pigmented and incredibly smooth. I used two coats for the swatches below.

Go with the Flowy:
A soft dove gray cream filled with subtle iridescent silver shimmers, Go with the Flowy is definitely the most wintery shade out of the bunch. I was expecting this to be quite sheer and patchy but the formulation is surprisingly decent! I used two coats for the swatches below.
