Clarins Summer 2019 | Bronzing Compact ($42 CAD for 18 g):
Available in two limited edition shades, the Summer 2019 Bronzing Compact each features three colors pressed in an intricate floral pattern. I have here "
02 Sunrise Glow", which contains a light bronze, plummy brown, and light beige. The formulation is sheer but buildable and the texture is silky and even. There appears to be some shimmer in the pan but they hardly show up on the skin. Additionally, the compact holds a whopping 18 g of product, making this bronzer a very worthy investment.

Housed in a convenient twist-up and retractable packaging, the Waterproof Eye Pencil in "
07 Blue Lily" is a bright cobalt blue with a satin metallic finish. The formulation is pigmented but the application is a touch streaky. The eyeliner glides smoothly and the color sets within seconds to a mostly smudge-proof finish. Because the liner does have the tendency to settle in fine lines, I would actually recommend blending it all over the lid as a cream eyeshadow instead.

Released last summer, the Water Lip Stain from Clarins is a long-lasting liquid lip tint with a refreshing watery texture (check out my full review
here). For summer 2019, three new limited edition shimmery shades have been added. I have here "
06 Sparkling Red Water", a bright orange-red suspended with fine golden shimmers. The lightweight formulation absorbs completely for a texture-free finish while the shimmers sit atop the lips and are prone to transferring. The formulation is sheerer than the original shimmer-free Water Lip Stain and it also doesn't last as long. Nevertheless, these make a comfortable, lightweight summer lip color.
