Charlotte Tilbury | *NEW* Pillow Talk Collection: Review and Swatches
First released in 2013, the Pillow Talk Lip Cheat from Charlotte Tilbury started a non-stop, global obsession with nude makeup. Described as "not just a color" but a world of beauty dream", Pillow Talk garnered an incredible fanbase within the recent years. So for Spring 2020, Charlotte Tilbury has expanded the Pillow Talk Collection with several new additions, including new lip colors, eye palettes, and cheek colors. I've got all the details to share with you in a two-part review. Today, I will be focusing on products for the eyes and cheeks. To learn about the new product and see some swatches, click......

Charlotte Tilbury | Instant Eye Palette in "Pillow Talk"
*NEW* Charlotte Tilbury | Instant Eye Palette in "Pillow Talk" (C$95 for 7 g):
One of the most exciting new additions to the Pillow Talk family is this twelve-shade eyeshadow palette called the Pillow Talk Instant Eye Palette. Divided into four trios, the palette allows the creation of four distinct rosy nude looks. For those that prefer matte shadows, this palette offers a great selection as eight out of the twelve colors are mattes. All the shades are incredibly silky and pigmented, as evidenced in the swatches below. I'm personally not a huge fan of Charlotte's sparkly "Pop" shades so I'm very glad to see the exclusion of those here. See below for a breakdown of all twelve shades.

Smoke: A matte muted rose that's slightly reminiscent of the "Enhance" shade from the original Pillow Talk Luxury Palette (see below). However, this one is slightly more intense and cooler in tone.

Charlotte Tilbury | Pillow Talk Luxury Palette (C$66 for 5.2 g):
A part of the earlier Pillow Talk lineup, the Pillow Talk Luxury Palette is what really boosted the Pillow Talk trend. With a semi-sheer warm champagne shimmer (Prime), a matte dusty pink (Enhance), a sparkly rose champagne glitter topper (Pop), and a warm light brown (Smoke), the palette creates a very pretty neutral look. The formulation is nice and pigmented for all the shades except for the glitter, which is quite sparse and difficult to apply so I would recommend dabbing it on with a wet shadow brush. If you are curious to learn more about this palette and to see a look I created with it, check out my original review here.

Charlotte Tilbury | Pillow Talk Luxury Palette of Pops (C$66 for 5.2 g):
For those that love the "Pop" shades from Charlotte's Luxury Palettes, the Pillow Talk Luxury Palette of Pops contains four sparkly eyeshadow colors. You get a glittery oyster champagne (Prime), a glittery pearly pink (Enhance), a warm coppery sparkle (Pop), and a deep warm brown sparkle (Smoke). All four shades are fairly sheer but packed to the brim with glitter particles. The application is fallout-prone as expected so it's best to apply the colors before foundation and clean up with scotch tape.

Charlotte Tilbury | Pillow Talk Eyeliner: Review and Swatches

Charlotte Tilbury | Pillow Talk Eyeliner (C$32 for 1.2 g):
Described as a smoky berry-brown, the Pillow Talk Eyeliner is a matte pencil liner with a pigmented formulation. The finish is smudge-proof and water-proof but the application is slightly tuggy. The eyeliner matches well with the original Pillow Talk Luxury Palette and some shades of the new Pillow Talk Instant Eye Palette.

Charlotte Tilbury | Cheek to Chic in "Pillow Talk" & "Pillow Talk Intense": Review and Swatches
Charlotte Tilbury | Cheek to Chic in "Pillow Talk Intense" & "Pillow Talk"
Charlotte Tilbury | Cheek to Chic in "Pillow Talk" & *NEW* "Pillow Talk Intense" (C$53 for 8 g each):
A new Cheek to Chic powder blush shade, "Pillow Talk Intense" is a combination of dusty mulberry and warm rose nude with a subtle satin finish. This is a deeper version of the original "Pillow Talk" Cheek to Chic (reviewed here), which is a warm rose nude and a nude champagne shimmer. Both blushes are beautifully silky and buttery. The pigmentation is just right so they give a natural flush to the cheeks without feeling overdone. In my opinion, the original "Pillow Talk" has more of a highlighter quality as it's more shimmery while "Pillow Talk Intense" is a more sophisticated satin dusty rose blush.

Charlotte Tilbury | Beauty Light Wand in "Pillow Talk" & "Pillow Talk Medium": Review and Swatches
Charlotte Tilbury | Beauty Light Wand in "Pillow Talk Medium" & "Pillow Talk"
*NEW* Charlotte Tilbury | Beauty Light Wand in "Pillow Talk" & "Pillow Talk Medium" (C$50 for 12 ml each):
Released last year, the Beauty Light Wand is a liquid highlighter housed inside a squeezable tube topped with a large doe-foot applicator (see my original review here). Two new shades are introduced as a part of the Pillow Talk expansion. "Pillow Talk" is a pearly pink champagne shimmer and "Pillow Talk Medium" is a soft bronze shimmer. "Pillow Talk" works well as a highlighter, especially for paler skin tones and "Pillow Talk Medium" works as a highlighter for darker skin tones or a shimmery bronzer for light to medium skin tones. Both shades are super intense and packed to the brim with shimmers so a little goes a long way. The formulation sets to a waterproof finish that's mostly smudge-proof.
