Dior comes a fresh take on the beloved Dior Addict Lipstick. Described as “the first Dior lip gloss stick”, the
Dior Addict Glass Lipstick (C$61 for 2.7 g) is a lipstick and lip gloss hybrid that delivers shine, color, and comfort. To learn more, read my review and check out some swatches below......

Packaging:The Dior Addict Glass Lipstick comes in an all-silver case featuring a raised Dior logo with a holographic chrome finish. The packaging feels chic and luxurious, although it is definitely a fingerprint magnet. Interestingly, the twist-up, retractable mechanism has a noticeably clicky feel, though this is not consistent across the board. Some feel more tactile and clicky, while others twist more smoothly. I presume the mechanism differs slightly from the original Dior Addict lipstick to better accommodate the formulation. For application, it’s best to twist up only a small amount of the bullet to prevent breakage and allow for more controlled application, as the formulation is very soft and melty.

Formulation:Formulated with 90% oil, the Dior Addict Glass Lipstick is described as a “lip gloss stick” that promises an instant mirror shine. Available in 16 shades, some with and some without shimmers, the Dior Addict Glass Lipstick has a melty, balmy consistency with semi-sheer and buildable coverage. The finish is shiny, though not quite as reflective as the promotional images seem to suggest. The formulation feels hydrating and comfortable on the lips, but it is not necessarily revolutionary. It reminds me somewhat of the
Rom&nd Glasting Melting Balm, though less sticky, and the
Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Balm, though not as sticky or glossy.

The lipstick has a subtle but noticeable old-school lipstick scent, and the coverage feels smooth and cushioning on the lips. However, if you have particularly dry lips with a lot of fine lines or flaky skin, there can be some patchiness and settling, so proper lip prep before application is very important. The wear time is fairly short, and unlike the
Dior Lip Glow, these do not leave behind any stain/tint. Overall, while I do really like these Dior Addict Glass Lipsticks, I still prefer the Dior Lip Glow. Although they are less shiny, the Dior Lip Glow feels more comfortable on the lips and offers longer-lasting wear.
194 Sparkly Dice: This is a very sparkly shade with a mostly clear base. Packed with iridescent sparkles that shift pink and blue, Sparkly Dice feels more like a topper than a standalone shade.

791 Diorissime: This is a gorgeous berry-toned pinkish red scattered with iridescent gold and pink sparkles. I love berry pinks and cooler-toned reds, so this shade is right up my alley.
