Derma E | Hydrating Eye Cream & Ultra Hydrating Alkaline Overnight Facial: Review
After testing and loving a couple of products from the Derma E vitamin C range (see my review here), I was super excited to try more. Known for their clean, vegan, and cruelty-free skincare, Derma E has a very impressive lineup of products designed for different skincare needs and they are all available at a very reasonable price. I want to share my reviews and thoughts on two items from the hydrating collection: the Hydrating Eye Cream (C$21) and Ultra Hydrating Alkaline Overnight Facial (C$21). To read all about them, click......

Derma E | Ultra Hydrating Alkaline Overnight Facial & Hydrating Eye Cream
Derma E | Hydrating Eye Cream (C$21 for 14 g):
A bestseller from Derma E, this is a moisturizing eye cream made for all skin types. With a super lightweight texture, the cream contains hydrating hyaluronic acid, brightening vitamin C, nourishing vitamin E, and collagen-boosting retinyl palmitate. Additionally, pine bark extract and green tea extract are added for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. The formulation spreads easily around the eyes and it absorbs very quickly without leaving behind any greasy residue. It's worth noting that the Hydrating Eye Cream contains very little silicone (one of the last ingredients), which is often heavily used in eye creams to give a smooth, blurred finish. Therefore, the formulation doesn't pill and layers well with other products. Overall, this is a simple yet fantastic eye cream made with great ingredients! Also, you really can't beat that affordable price tag!

Derma E | Ultra Hydrating Alkaline Overnight Facial (C$21 for 56 g):
An overnight sleeping mask designed to hydrate and re-balance the skin, the Ultra Hydrating Alkaline Overnight Facial has a lightweight gel formulation suspended with pH balancing alkaline water beads. Made with aloe juice, hyaluronic acid, rose water, and green tea extract, the facial feels instantly soothing and hydrating on the skin. However, as the formulation sets, it feels very mask-like, sitting atop the skin and feeling rather tight and slightly sticky. Admittedly, my skin is very hydrated and plumped when I wash things off in the morning but I'm just not a fan of how the product feels. A more melty and creamy sleeping mask is what I usually prefer so this is not the product for me. Nevertheless, I have to commend Derma E on the super clean ingredients and the jaw-dropping price point!
