OPI | Nail Envy Nail Strengthener:In the original clear shade, the Nail Envy Nail Strengthener is formulated with a "Tri-Flex Technology" that protects the nails from peeling and splitting. The recommended use for the Nail Envy is to apply two coats to bare nails followed by an additional coat daily. Then, remove it on day seven. Personally, I would not follow that direction as having eight layers of polish is pretty extreme. It may work for the clear shades but for the colored shades, the result would be a total mess. Anyhow, the original shade is a completely clear top coat that gives the nails a nice shine.

OPI | Nail Envy Nail Strengthener in "Pink to Envy":A slight spin on the original, this is a clear nail strengthener with a barely visible hint of pink. Personally, I think you can either just go with the original as pink is so sheer that there is no real difference.

OPI | Nail Envy Nail Strengthener in "Alpine Snow":Now we delve into the colored Nail Envy Nail Strengtheners. Alpine Snow is a stark creamy white with a surprisingly smooth and pigmented formulation. Personally, I feel that the nail-strengthening quality of the original Nail Envy formulation is probably diminished by the addition of pigments. Therefore, it's probably not worth spending almost $20 on. Personally, I would either buy the regular OPI Nail Lacquers or the clear OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener.

A super pigmented and creamy taupe nude, this shade is sophisticated and flattering.

OPI | Nail Envy Nail Strengthener in "Powerful Pink":This is a very pretty Barbie pink with a frosty, shimmery finish. The formulation is pigmented but the frosty finish is just a touch streaky.

OPI | Nail Envy Nail Strengthener in "Big Apple Red":This is the Nail Envy version of the iconic red from OPI. The formulation is rich and pigmented. Personally, I cannot distinguish the Nail Envy formulation from the Nail Lacquer formulation. However, as you can see with these swatches, no one in their right mind would apply an additional coat daily to achieve the optimal nail-strengthening effect.

*Please Note*: This collection also includes the iconic "Bubble Bath" shade, which is a soft baby pink. Unfortunately, I forgot to swatch it before clipping my nails so it won't be included in this review.
