Lavender Feather Nails: Manicure Featuring Water Decal Stickers

Disclaimer: The water decal stickers were provided for review.

So recently I have noticed the feather nail trend going around; real feather is applied to still wet polish and a topcoat is used to seal it in place. I like the look but I think it's a tad weird to have real feathers on your nails so I was really excited about these feather nail art water decal stickers Born Pretty Store sent us to review. So I was a bit confused about what water decal stickers were. I thought they were like temporary tattoos for nails, like the ones from bigRuby we reviewed a while back, but they are pretty much real stickers that sticks to wet nails. The water decal stickers are very thin, so they aren't bumpy and ridge-y like normal nail stickers.
Wearing "Incantato Purple" from Borghese, and "Melissa" from Julep mixed with clear topcoat over the decals.
The feather water decal sticker set ($4.73USD) comes with a huge sheet of various designs, you simply cut out the sticker you want, immerse it in water, peel off the sticker and place it on your wet nails. It was fairly easy to use but I did have issues with the larger ones; because it was very hard to reposition the stickers after sticking them on, wrinkles formed on the curved parts of the nails. Though with a top coat, the wrinkles less noticeable.
I like these very much, because as I mentioned before, I am no nail stamping artist. These decals allow me to have nice intricate designs on my nails without me going nuts over the perfect stamping techniques. Also, I think the value of these decals is amazing, for $5 (Born Pretty Store ships free internationally), you get a really large sheet of what I reckon to be around 200 stickers, all of which are very cute and useable.

Anyhow, I hope you enjoyed this look, if you are interested in this product, click the banner below and use the code VGL91 to receive 10% off your purchase.
