Dior | *NEW* Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil

Packaging:

The Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil has received a subtle yet noticeable update with this revamp. Instead of the product name embossed along the side of the clear tube (which you can see here), the tube is now decorated with a raised silver oblique “Dior” logo along its side. The doe-foot applicator is oversized, making application quick and easy, although personally I find that it sometimes picks up excess product, which can splatter when the applicator is pulled out of the tube. Overall, the updated packaging feels even more luxurious and stylish.

Formulation:

Infused with cherry oil, the Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil features a lightweight, high-shine formulation that is hydrating and non-sticky. Lightly scented with a soft minty note, the lip oil adapts to the lips’ pH level to deliver a customized pink-toned tint. The formulation is now available in three finishes: Juicy (the original sheer finish), Glaze (high pigmentation), and Sparkly (sheer with shimmer). Below is a breakdown of the shades I have.

012 Rosewood Juicy: This is a lovely rosy nude shade. It is very sheer, delivering a flattering “my lips but better” shine.

015 Cherry Juicy: A bright, sheer pink-red, Cherry Juicy appears much bolder in the tube than it does on the lips. The formulation is extremely sheer, providing just a hint of color.

046 Cranberry Juicy: This is a pretty, sheer red shade. While it looks quite intense and vampy in the tube, it applies with a fresh, natural-looking reddish tint on the lips.

087 Spicy Sparkly: Packed with iridescent shimmer, Spicy Sparkly is a soft rose nude. While the formulation looks very sparkly in the tube, the shimmer appears quite subtle on the lips. The shade itself is also very sheer.

099 Mocha Sparkly: Last but not least is this sheer burgundy red, filled with iridescent shimmer. Like a few of the other shades, it appears much more intense in the tube than it does on the lips.
