I have wanted to try the Clinique Chubby Sticks for the longest time and I picked one up when redeeming my Shopper's points. These retail for $19 CAN and can be found in Sephora and other major retailers. I know there are many dupes of the Chubby Sticks, and I have tried some, but I really wanted to see how the original was. To read my full review click:
I swatched almost all the colors at shoppers looking for the perfect one. I went with the intense version in Heftiest Hibiscus. I find this is much more pigmented than the others and shows up wonderfully on the lips. I like the design of a big crayon to draw on your lip color. I also find the packaging of the Clinique version to look much more polished than the knockoffs. Because this color was quite pigmented I found it was less balm-like than the other colors. Therefore I found it was not as moisturizing as I would have liked. It is definitely not drying, I guess I just expect a lot of hydration when something claims to moisturize.
Heftiest Hibiscus has become my new summer coral despite it not being quite the balm I hoped. I can't wait to try more of them, and hopefully the formula gets a bit better.
