MAC Lipstick in "Dark Side": Review and Swatch

"Dark Side" is an amplified cream lipstick from MAC that retails for $18. The shade is a deep purple, mauve color that is perfect for the autumn and winter seasons. It is a very bold and vampy lip but is not as goth as I expected it to be. 

The thing I like about this lipstick is that it is an amplified cream, that means it packs a lot of color without being too drying. It doesn't produce the matte effect but it isn't too shinny or a frost which I stay away from.I like this for a dramatic lip every once and a while.
