Mattify Cosmetics Concealer in "Light" & Loose Eye in "Earth Angel": Review and Swatches

Disclaimer: These products were provided for review.
Wearing "Earth Angel" loose shadow all over the lid and a tiny bit of concealer under the eye.
Hi everyone, today I have a couple more powder makeup products from Mattify Cosmetics to review for you all. As you may have read from my previous review of Mattify Cosmetics, the company produces powder makeup products that contain kaolin clay and/or silica spheres that delay shine and ensure a long wearing time. Mattify Conceal-zit Concealer for Oily Skin ($10 for 5g):
The color I received is the lightest shade called "light". Unfortunately, the color of "light" was way too dark and yellow for my skin tone (see swatches at end of the post).
The texture also feels a tad chalky and I had a hard time blending it on bare skin so this product should probably be worn over foundation or primer.
The coverage it provides is between light and medium, I tried it on my arm and it only slightly covered the appearance of my veins.
So overall this isn't a product I personally would be drawn too mostly because the color range is so limited and also because the coverage is just not enough.

Mattify Cosmetics Long Lasting Eye Makeup in "Earth Angel" ($4.99 for 5g):
"Earth Angel" is a beautiful champagne colored shimmery loose shadow from the "Warm Earth Tone" series. The pigmentation of this was incredible and so was the texture. I swatched this lightly on my bare arm and it literally felt like spreading cream on my skin. With no primer, the color was super intense and there was minimal fall out.
The lasting power of this was very good (~8 hours with no creasing or fading); however, I don't have particularly oily lids. Overall, this is a fantastic highlighting shadow as well as an overall color.
Swatched over bare skin, no primer, natural lighting.
So there you have it, what do you guys think? Have you tried powder concealers before and what are your thoughts on loose versus pressed eye shadow? Let me know in the comments and have a great day (it's sunny in Vancouver today)!
