Argyle Nails: Manicure Featuring 3D Design Nail Stickers

Disclaimer: The nail stickers were provided for review.
Hey guys, today I have a simple argyle patterned nail art design using some 3D Design Nail Stickers ($1.49) from Born Pretty Store. This is actually my first time using nail stickers from Born Pretty Store so let's jump into the review......
The sticker set comes with 10 large argyle patterned stickers and 11 diamond shaped stickers. The stickers each consists of glitters adhered to a thin, pliable vinyl adhesive and pair of white foam/rubbery material that makes up the cross of the argyle pattern.
I wore the stickers over a dusty indigo called "Baldwin Blues" (it came in my January Wantable Box).
The stickers were surprisingly easy to work, not at all stiff and adhered very well to the curvature of my nails. I was surprised by how much I liked them because nail stickers (but not water decals) tend to be quite stiff and doesn't stay on the nail very well.
One thing I do want to note about these stickers is that they do not work very well with a top coat. The long foamy portions of the stickers are about 1mm thick and they do hinder the application of a top coat. I tried using my Sally Hansen Insta-Dri over it and ended up with a bit of a mess because a lot of the top coat just pooled near the intersection of the two foam strips. So these stickers are only suitable for a one to two day wear.
Overall, I like the product, I love how it allows me to incorporate so many elements onto my nails in such a easy way! To check out this and many other products at Born Pretty Store, click on the banner below!
