Summer Lips featuring Revlon Lip Crayons: Review and Swatches

Disclaimer: Products featured were provided for review.
For me, summer makeup is all about bright lips! I am not into tanning and bold eye looks still scare me so whenever I want to jazz up my look, I opt for a bold lip color. At the same time, though, I don't like wearing full coverage, opaque lipsticks in the summer because it can feel a little too heavy and overdone so that's where the Revlon lip crayons come in!
Today I have a few swatches of my fave shades from the ColorBurst and Just Bitten Kissable lines to share with y'all, to see some swatches, click......

Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm:
The ColorBurst Lacquer Balms are a line of high-shine lip crayons that provide superb moisturization and a more translucent color. These sit super comfortably on the lips and are virtually weightless.
Tease: This shade is a gorgeous sheer tangerine. For those that love orange lips but don't want to go for a crazy neon orange, Tease makes the perfect wearable orange.
Vivacious: This one is a super intense bright hot pink with a gorgeous sheen, it is hands down my favorite of all the Revlon lip crayons.

Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm:
For those that prefer a more pigmented formulation with a modern matte finish, the Matte Balms are definitely worth checking out . The colors pack some serious punch but they aren't too forgiving of dry lips so exfoliate well before applying.
Audacious: This one is a super fun orange-y coral (Tease's matte sister), I love that it's orange without being too crazy.
Unapologetic: Vivacious' matte counterpart, Unapologetic is a very bright matte pink. The color leaves a nice stain as well, so even after it wears off, you still get a nice wash of color.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain:
The Just Kitten Kissable balms are among the first lip crayons Revlon released and they have the best formulation in my opinion. Like the Lacquer Balms, these colors have a glossy sheen but they also leave the lips tinted so the color lasts longer.
Love Sick: This is a beautiful pink with a bit of violet undertones, right on trend for 2014. The finish is just beautiful and it makes the lips look plumper as well!
