Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipsticks in "505 Red Alert", "190 Rose Blush" & "240 Tower of Mauve": Review and Swatches
Well there goes another week, I can't believe we are already half way past summer! Anyhow, hope y'all have a nice and relaxing weekend planned ahead. Today I wanted to share with you two more shades of the reformulated and repackaged (for Fall 2014) Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipsticks. To read more and see some swatches of "505 Red Alert" and "190 Rose Blush".......

Packaging:
I had a few people asking about the packaging difference between the old and the reformulated lipsticks so I thought I'd just include a picture here for reference. The older one has a shorter cap and new one have one of those longer caps that reaches all the way to the base.

Formulation:
If you read my recent review on the shade "240 Tower of Mauve", you'll know that I am totally in love with this new formulation. The two shades I am reviewing today proved to be no different. The formulation is ultra lightweight and creamy (almost a bit gel-like). The colors glide on so smoothly and the pigmentation is superb. The lipstick has a very natural sheen to the finish and a mild "old-school lipstick" smell.

Color & Pigmentation:
505 Red Alert: This one is a bold and eye-catching true red. If you are looking for the red, check this one out! Not very often will you find a super saturated true red with such a rich and moisturizing formulation. The color isn't transfer-proof but it actually stays quite well and will leave the lips with a nice stain.

505 Red Alert
190 Rose Blush:
This one is a nice, warm, and slightly dusty light pink. The pigmentation of this one isn't as intense but it's very buildable so you can definitely achieve the same kind of opacity as you would be able to with one swipe of 505 Red Alert. This color wears off pretty quickly though.

190 Rose Blush

240 Tower of Mauve: A brownish rosy mauve. I thought I include this one here just for comparison, read my full review of this one here.

Overall:
So now that I've tested out three colors from this new reformulated range, I am pretty convinced that this is one of the best lipstick formulation I've tried and given how ridiculously affordable Rimmel products are, I don't know how much better this can get!
Beyond Blush has swatches of two more shades (one is a super beautiful pink), check them out here!

Availability:
The reformulated lipsticks are available starting July but it might still take a bit for them to arrive at your local drugstore.
