I don't know about you but I don't think I've ever bought any brush on its own before. Whenever I buy brushes, I usually get it in a set because the value is usually a gazillion times better and you can never have too many brushes, right? This sturdy quilted faux leather makeup travel case comes with five brushes, two for the face and three for the eyes.

With the exception of the angled liner brush, all the brushes are made from cruelty free genuine animal hair. This is actually my first time using non-synthetic brushes and the biggest different I notice is that the brushes have more texture and they pick up products much better than synthetic brushes. I did a bit of research online and found that because animal hair is porous (which allows it to better pick up products), it is more likely to harbor bacteria so I guess these brushes should be cleaned more often. In terms of other properties, these brushes are just as soft and I have experienced no shedding.
Overall:
I think this is a solid, high-quality brush set. Whether you are looking for a travel brush set or just some good quality, real animal hair brushes, this set would make a great purchase!
